Our Mission
To provide a safe place in a Christian environment for men who are desperate for a new life free from drug and alcohol dependency and to show men how to become Godly husbands, fathers, sons, servants and leaders in the community.
ARM 180
ARM 180 was founded on the verse ISAIAH 59:1 – The ARM stands for (Arkansas Recovery Ministries) and the 180 represents turning away from the old life and into a more abundant life with Jesus Christ. This is a free program for men who are sincere and committed to working on themselves.
We Believe
We believe in the healing power of applying the word of God to our everyday life which gives every man purpose and hope through Jesus Christ.
Our Goals
Our goal for all residents is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. The resident will work on root issues of their addiction, moving forward with purpose, authentic manhood , leadership and restoration with their families.
About Our Program
The program is a minimum of seven months and as long as one year depending on the progress of the resident. A week will consist of 20 hours of classes and 20 hours of work detail. Residents will attend church and celebrate recovery on regular basis along with several other positive events going on in the community.
Requirements For Acceptance
We accept men 21 and older with no sexual offenses or extreme violent charges. Men who are broken and ready for change must call the office where a staff member will conduct a phone questionnaire and determine a day for an in-person, face to face interview with the director. Our Community
It truly is more blessed to give than to receive and the men of ARM 180 are taught this daily as we serve the surrounding communities. Teaching and studying of Gods Word isn’t confined to the classroom, as we feel the application of His word is as important to a life being transformed as any. The Ripple Effect
ARM 180 is a 7-12 month program and is 100% free to all residents and their families. We are not state or federally funded which allows us to teach that Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of lords. During a residents’ stay, they will attend daily bible studies, complete several courses including biblical foundations/ biblical leadership, life skills, authentic manhood to name a few. Time is the second most important ingredient to the success of a residents’ stay at ARM 180. We provide the fertile soil for residents’ roots to grow deeply into their new identity in Christ. Plant seeds of love and truth, till and water the ground and watch as God does the growing. Time is essential for family members as well, providing much needed space for God to help the healing begin. This is only the tip of the iceberg. The reach is unmeasurable as families get back their loved one that have been taught and shown how to now be Godly husbands, fathers, sons, servants and leaders in the community. In many cases, generational curses spanning back decades are broken and we can only imagine the spiritual dividends to be paid forward for many years to come.
